It depends on the test. Tests like fasting blood glucose, lipid profile and some liver panels require 8–12 hours of fasting. Tests like CBC, thyroid, HbA1c and most immunoassays do not require fasting. When in doubt, call us at 022-47818684 and we'll confirm your specific test's requirements.
